A Six Sigma Yellow Belt is someone who is well familiar with the concepts and terminology of six sigma and can take up small process improvement projects. Such projects are usually restricted to a single function or operation.

There are no prerequisites to join a Six Sigma Yellow Belt training. The only thing required is a desire to learn.

No. There is no retake fee for the exam. The exam access is provided for 90 days from the date of the course and you are allowed 4 retakes within the 90 days. No one has ever used all 4 retakes.

In case you took the exam 5 times within 90 days and failed all attempts, we will allow you to come and attend a future Six Sigma session free of cost.

The six Sigma certifications are for lifetime and never expire. So there is no renewal required.

Having said that, as a six sigma professional, you should always be looking to improve your knowledge and skills.

We can give a long list of reasons but here are some reasons pointed by many of the several thousands professionals we have trained in the past.

  • Highly focused effective sessions
  • A lot learned in a short time
  • Real life examples made the difference
  • Very intense material but personal stories kept the group interested
  • Scenarios and examples helped learn complicated concepts

Attending the course is just the beginning. We like to develop a lifelong relationship with our course participants. We strongly encourage our trainers to develop professional relationship with participants that goes beyond the class in months and years to come.

Absolutely. We encourage our clients to hold in-house training session if they have 5 or more participants. The main reason is that it helps focus on your organization and your industry specific issues, problems, and challenges. Your employees will find it easy to discuss their specific issues.

However, there are also benefits in attending a public course. The biggest value is that you get to see what are best practices, issues, and challenges being faced by other organizations and/or industries.
